Prepare Ye! Prepare Ye! by F. Edward Butterworth
Urgent warnings and specific prophetic instructions for the saints of Christ.

Comparing conditions today with the signs of the times in latter days given in Holy Scripture, there is unmistakable evidence that the closing drama of the Sixth Dispensation is fast approaching. Unfortunately, mankind is tragically unprepared for this momentous event that will shake the foundations of both heaven and earth.

This volume of reteaching materials entitled Prepare Ye! Prepare Ye! is fraught with urgent warnings and specific prophetic instructions for the saints of Christ. Applying the method typical of the first three volumes of reteaching materials (Return of the Ancients, Divine Origin of the Restoration, and After Your Testimony), I will use the Three Standard Books of the Restoration of 1830 and other authentic materials, including original histories, as foundations for my ideas.

I will also draw on my own personal experience, which I expect to justify before the Judge of all earth. I will use irrefutable evidence to show that all nations, including the United States of America, are trembling on the divine balances and are found wanting. If my perception is correct, mankind has lowered itself to the decadence of ancient Sodom and Gomorrah.

We should learn from history, not lay it aside because of its antiquity. History is replete with examples of the results of humanity's arrogance and aggressive struggle for affluence, position, and power. These ancient faults of human nature have felled once mighty nations such as Babylon, Rome, and Assyria.

It is my deep conviction that these faults of human nature exist in greater intensity today than ever before in the history of the world. This should be obvious to all who have watched the abandonment of the Church of the Firstborn in our generation. This Church existed before the foundations of the earth were laid. The Church of Christ on earth, organized after the pattern of the Church of the Firstborn in heaven, has risen and fallen in all six dispensations of time.

In this volume I will show why we are all related to Adam and Eve despite our nationality, skin color, or the language we may speak. A man's creed, however, is extremely relevant to his relationship with the Heavenly Father, for creeds have a tendency to rise out of unsound, perverted, or even false doctrine.

Prejudice is a satanic seed that has taken root in the creeds of men and divided mankind into opposing camps. Unless this can be corrected, the promised land is in mortal danger of total collapse. This frightening prospect is too obvious and real to the well-informed to be regarded as the rantings of uninformed doomsayers.

In writing these reteaching materials, I have personally come to know of a surety that our understandings can increase and expand. I testify to all those who read this volume that new windows into the eternal world will be opened to you.

I counsel all who believe to "Prepare Ye, Prepare Ye" for the imminent appearance of the Bridegroom. Since the Bridegroom is Christ and the Church of the Firstborn is His "wife," we must be dressed in the proper wedding garments required for participation in the "marriage supper of the Lamb." Therefore, to make ourselves ready as His wife,

Be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white; for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints (Rev. 19:8; bolding of scriptural quotes is by the author).
