About the Author

 L D Clark studied at Columbia University where he earned his PhD. Clark taught English at the University of Arizona and other institutions including the University of Nice and Korea University. After retirement from teaching he moved back to his native Texas where he is still engaged in writing, mainly fiction. He has published numerous titles of criticism, fiction, and other works.

The Southwest novelist is married to LaVerne Harrell Clark, novelist, folklorist, and photographer. Two of her books, The Face of Poetry and Focus 101, were published by Heidelberg Graphics.
